From Pondicherry he went to Tiruvannamalai. He greeted the Holy Hill Arunachala and  ran towards to See the Sage Ramana. He came to know that Sage was sick and doctor diagnosed the disease as cancer.
So the Darshan time was  restricted to a limited time in the Morning and in the evening.Yogi was Shocked on knowing the news .When he saw the sage his Heart hurt and tears roll down on his face.
The Sage was totally differene in his ailments. His face was glowing and He was radiating divinity. When he saw our Yogi the mysterious smile bloomed in his face as if it said,"Welcome Son".On Seeing the sage ,Yogi cried silently. He was just Staring at the Sage. The darshan time was over. The Sage had to go for rest.
Yogi ram  left the place and climbed up the hill.He sat on arock in the Hot Sun  and cried and cried.
The Whole day he was Sitting on the rock on the Hill.In the evening ,he again came to ashram to see the Sage. The sage was lying in the bed.His eyes were glowing. He saw every Individual. When he Saw yogi the Same smile appeared on his face.Yogi never attempted to talk with the Sage.

One day Ramana maharishi was groaning "Oh,Aah",if he Suffered with immense pain. One of the close devotees of ramana enquired with great concern, reverence and tear in his eyes,"Swami ,is the Pain very acute?".Suddenly Ramana got up from his bed and told,"Throughout the years I have been telling that I am not the body. But you enquire about my body and its Pain.Have all my teachings become a Waste to you?"
Saying this  he again   lay down  in the bed.The devotees was astonished.
Then within a few days ,the visitors could not go near the Sage.Yogi Started roaming in and around the Hill throughout the time. There he met Several Sadhus.A Sadhu at the Banyan tree cave in the Hill told about him about Swami Ramdas in Kanhangad,in Kerala State. He started Kanhangad to see Swami Ramdas at his Ashram Which was Called Anandashram.

GURU SEARCHING-1

Yogi RamSuratKumar met Kapadia Baba in 1947,On the bank of Ganges.Kapadia Baba told about Ramana Maharishi at Tiruvannamalai and Sri Aurobindo Gosh at Pondicherry in South India. He also told RamSuratKumar that Without the Grace Of Guru,it's Impossible to attain the GODHOOD.On hearing these words From his Friend(Kapadia Baba),Yogi RamSuratKumar got the divinity feeling to see Ramana Maharishi at Tiruvanamalai and Sri Aurobindo Gosh at Pondicherry.

In 1947,Yogi RamSuratKumar Reached Tiruvannamalai. He greeted the Holy hill 'Arunachala'.On the First sight of  the holy hill,Which was considered Lord Siva himself,Our Yogi Ram Started Loving it with a great reverence. From the Railway Station he enquired the way to reach Ramaanashram Where the great Sage Ramana Maharishi Lived. He reached the ashram and was directed to the old darshan hall to meet the Sage.

The Great Sage Ramanar was sitting in a corner of a small room on a raised platform. As soon as Our Yogi Ram entered the Room,he could feel a deep ,divine silence prevailing in the room. There was a few people Sitting before the sage ,enjoying the blissful peace of the Sage.Yogi Ram sat before the Sage,The Sage saw the Young man with all Compassion for a few minutes.Yogi Ram was Thrilled. His Whole being was Shaken and the Great Sage's Grace through His Sight on the Young man captivated him.
Yogi Ram slowly and involuntarily closed his eyes.A deep Meditation happened within Yogi Ram.After a long time he slowly opened his eyes and He saw the Great Sage looking at him with compassion.A joyful smile was visible on his face.Thats how  the great Sage graced and blessed  the Yong seeker in their first encounter.

Yogi Ram was given a room at the ashram complex. He stayed in the ashram for few days.Throughout his stay in the ashram,he spent most of his time with the great Sage,Silently sitting before the Sage.He Visited the big Arunachaleswara Temple and sat near the pathala lingam where Sage Ramana sat earlier for month together.
Pathala lingam
He meditated there for a long time with great ectasy. The Big gopuram of the temple radiated the bliss and peace. The Vibration in the temple was a great benediction for Yogi Ram.In the later years Yogi Ramsuratkumar declared,

"The Arunachaleshwara Temple is the real home for the people like this beggar"
OLD ARUNACHALESHWARA TEMPLE
The path of  self enquiry,"who am I",lead Yogi Ram to a natural Holy Samadhi State.A few days passed by in the divine ectasy at Tiruvannamalai in the presence of sage.He had to go back to his place. On the day he had to leave Tiruvannamalai,he silently prayed before the sage
"Ye swami pour thy grace on me to attain thy Holy Feet.Make me thy own and put me ever at your feet"
The Sage Said "Sari"(சரி)in Tamil and again blesses Yogi Ram with a broad Smile. In the later days,Yogi Ramsuratkumar Said "This beggar Learned the First Tamil Word "Sari" from Ramana Maharishi".(Sari means Yes)
Yogi Ram greeted the Holy Hill ,Which he was considered himself as Lord Shiva .He walked around the Hill  Chanting
"ARUNACHALA SIVA ARUNACHALA SIVA ARUNACHALA SIVA  ARUNA JATA"

GURU

Yogi Ram Surat Kumar

Yogi Ram Surat Kumar
Jaya Guru Raya!

IMPORTANCE OF GURU:
A guru (Sanskrit: गुरु) is one who is regarded as having great knowledge, wisdom, and authority in a certain area, and who uses it to guide others (teacher). Other forms of manifestation of this principle can include parents, school teachers, non-human objects (books) and even one's own intellectual discipline, if the aforementioned are in a guidance role.
In the religious sense the term is commonly used in Hinduism, as well as in other Indian religions and new religious movements. Finding a true guru is often held to be a prerequisite for attaining self-realization. In contemporary India, the word guru is widely used with the general meaning of "teacher". In Western usage, the meaning of guru has been extended to cover anyone who acquires followers, though not necessarily in an established school of philosophy or religion.
The importance of finding a guru who can impart transcendental knowledge (vidyā) is emphasised in Hinduism. One of the main Hindu texts, the Bhagavad Gita, is a dialogue between God in the form of
Krishna and his friend Arjuna, a Kshatriya prince who accepts Krishna as his guru on the battlefield, prior to a large battle. Not only does this dialogue outline many of the ideals of Hinduism, but their relationship is considered an ideal one of Guru-Shishya
In the Gita, Krishna speaks to Arjuna of the importance of finding a guru.

"Acquire the transcendental knowledge from a Self-realized master by humble reverence, by sincere inquiry, and by service. The wise ones who have realized the Truth will impart the Knowledge to you.  In Hinduism, the guru is considered a respected person with saintly qualities who enlightens the mind of his or her disciple, an educator from whom one receives the initiatory mantra, and one who instructs in sprituals and religious ceremonies".

Yogi Ramsuratkumar Jaya Guru Raya!!!!!

Yogi Ramsuratkumar was born on December 1, 1918, along the banks of the Ganges in a small village adjacent to Kashi, near Varanasi (Benares), India. In his childhood, he loved very much to meet the yogis and monks. He was befriended by a number of holy men who built their huts on the Ganges shore or simply wandered nearby.

When he was 12 years old he had an initial spiritual Awakening. When pulling water from a well one night he saw a sparrow on the stone coping of the well wall. In a child-like impulse he threw the rope towards it, striking the bird causing it to fall to the ground. Stricken with uncontrollable sorrow and drenched in tears, he took the bird in his hands and pouring water into its beak in an effort to revive it, but the bird was dead. The bird's death raised a number of questions in his mind. He regretted his act and resented the fact that he acted impetuously, and if had not, the incident could have been averted. The suffering that he experienced filled his heart with compassion towards all creatures.
When he was 16 years old, moved by an immense impusle to search for God, he left his home carrying nothing with him and began his journey in search of a Guru. In 1947, at the age of 29, he was visiting the ashram of Sri Aurobindo in Pondicherry. A disciple there suggested he visit Sri Ramana Maharshi at Tiruvannamalai.
He traveled to Tiruvannamalai and lived there for three days and was filled with an even greater spiritual energy. There he happened to see a newspaper clipping that led him to Swami Ramdas at Kanhangad in Kerala.
He then returned to Varanasi. The following year, in 1948, he returned to Sri Aurobindo ashram. Then he went to Ramanashram and stayed there for two months, in proximity of Sri Ramana Maharshi.
Still, he felt the need for a Guru and returned to Swami Ramdas, then returned once again to the Himalayas. In 1952, moved by a powerful inner force, he returned to Swami Ramdas, and this time found in Swami Ramdas the spiritual light he was searching for.
Swami Ramadas initiated him into the holy mantra "Om Sri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram", by pronouncing it thrice in his ears. Yogi Ramsuratkumar often refers to this instance as his "death", since from this moment on, his ego no longer existed, and he had a profound spiritual transformation.
Yogi Ramsuratkumar travelled across India from 1952 to 1959. Not much is known about the exact whereabouts of him in this period. He finally reached Thiruvannamalai in the Southern India in 1959. He was a "hidden" saint during this early period, with not too many individuals realizing that this "beggar" was someone who is in a high state of consciousness. He was seen near the Tiruvannamalai Temple chariot, at the corners of the Road, under the trees of the Temple. As more and more people started acknowledging the divine presence in him, he then began living in a small house in Sannadhi Street beneath the Temple. He continued to bless the devotees who thronged by the thousands to his house at the Sannadhi Street.
In 1993, his devotees became too many to be handled in a small house and the devotees wished him to have an Ashram which he gently accepted after much persuasion for the sake of his devotees. The Yogi Ramsuratkumar Ashram was constructed at Agrahara collai and occupies total area of 3.5 Acres. The ashram is located in Ramananagar of Tiruvannamalai, within a walking distance from Ramana Ashram, not far from the southeast Lingam on the circambulation route.
On February 20, 2001 at 3:19AM in the Ashram at Thiruvannamalai, Yogi Ramsuratkumar left his body with Mahasamadhi being celeberated the next day, February 21st, at 3P.M.
" He always Live  in all Pure Devotees heart"
